He claims it would be temporary, but that would certainly have to be irrefutably mandated-in: can you imagine a central governing body with universal power that would ever disband itself ? Not even the puny ones do. Why a central ‘world executive committee’ is necessary to coordinate the response adequately he didn’t say. Why he expects it would work better for everyone (when even the much smaller and more culturally-uniform EU block is inharmonious and coming unglued) he didn’t say. Why this idea came to him at all he didn’t say. But at times like these there’s just no time for thoughtful caution, careful discretion, and scrutiny. Precisely. Strange.
